In the heart of Memphis, where the crime rate echoes a harsh reality, “SKILLZ” (Supporting Knowledge in Lifelong Learning & Zeal)  emerges as a beacon of change. With a city plagued by a troubling surge in murders, we’re determined to tackle the root causes. For three decades, the absence of vocational trades in high schools left a void, leading to increased crime.

SKILLZ, unlike a nonprofit, transcends racial boundaries. We’re dedicated to guiding a diverse community of lost youth searching for direction and hope. Much like how Jesus walked amongst people, not just in palaces, we recognize the need to be present where it matters most.

Acknowledging that police and politicians can’t be everywhere, SKILLZ is a call for the community to rise, reclaim our streets, rescue our kids, and restore the lives of those yearning for direction. It’s a collective effort to shape a future where everyone finds their way.

Now, through the proceeds of “What If,” we’re investing in the future, offering the youth a chance to learn trades – from essential skills like plumbing and electrical work to modern disciplines like computer graphics and programming. It’s more than a project; it’s a commitment to break the cycle, providing opportunities that transform lives and reshape communities.

Join us in turning the page on crime by empowering the next generation with the tools they need to build a brighter tomorrow.
